Roger Lesage Gárriga was born in Brittany, (France) but went to Paris when he was very young. There he learned the smith trade but has worked in many different jobs.....
Won over in 1987 by Andalucía, land that feels Muslim, Jew and Christian at the same time he came to live in an open and welcoming pueblo which reflects the character “Al Andalus.”
This exceptional plurality and tolerance is also shown in his works in iron as well in this, his first, exposition of oil paintings. His passion for these 800 years of creation and coexistence has turned into great admiration the splendid work found in the Alhambra which is the inspiration for this impressionistic work based on the geometric designs of the wall tiles of this wonderful monument.
With these oils he would like to share with you this infinite sensation “Andalus”.
This is a virtual exhibition of the paintings of Roger Lesage. To make it a little more interesting it is what is known as "Interactive." Which means that "YOU" the viewer can do something other than just look at the "nice pictures".
